Everest Introduction

Day 15: Chukung Bad Weather Day Today it was miserable. It snowed most of the day and we could not go anywhere and I stayed in the lodge the entire day. No pictures were taken, not trails were traversed, but a lot of really expensive food was eaten. Some cards were played (Spades with people from the Sierra Club trek), some of 'The Hunt for Red October' was re-read (I had no new book and I was desparate for any reading material), and some trips were made to the toilet (which was way too far away outside amongst the yaks). The snow that a Sherpa guide predicted would end yestarday at 4:00 lasted pretty much all day today. Somewhat unusual.
